About Brooke
I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Northeastern University with a strong background in math, problem-solving, and clear communication.
Throughout my academic and professional experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to break down complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations.
I now focus on tutoring elementary and middle school math because I enjoy helping students build confidence early in their math journey. Many students struggle in math not because they lack ability, but because they need concepts explained in a different way that makes sense to them.
I specialize in helping students strengthen their fundamentals, catch up if they feel behind, and develop the confidence to approach math independently.
My approach is patient, structured, and supportive. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe asking questions and learning at their own pace.
My goal is not just to help students get through assignments, but to help them build a strong foundation that makes future math easier and less stressful.

My lessons are designed to help elementary and middle school students build confidence and truly understand math, not just memorize steps.
I focus on breaking problems down into clear, manageable pieces so students can see exactly what to do and why it works.
I work with each student at their own pace and adjust my teaching style based on how they learn best. Some students need more repetition and structure, while others benefit from visual explanations or real-world examples—I adapt accordingly.
In a typical session, we will:
1. Review current homework or class material
2. Identify any gaps in understanding
3. Work through problems step-by-step together
4. Practice similar questions to build independence
5. Reinforce key concepts so they stick
My goal is to reduce frustration and build long-term confidence in math. I especially enjoy working with students who feel “behind” or discouraged, because with the right approach, those situations improve quickly!
I keep sessions patient, structured, and supportive so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without pressure.
