I have taught my siblings different bits and pieces when they have needed me to. But the only real tutoring experience I have had in Maths is tutoring a student at GCSE level where I believe they managed to come out with an 'A' overall.

I am a Final year Computer Science student at Northumbria University, looking to tutor students in Maths at AS Level and below. Students need to have the passion to want to learn and be great listeners! As this will help lessons to flow better.
I would first start by going through and determining the students weaknesses, so that we can plan our learning schedule. The way I teach is through showing examples and working through them together before allowing the student to have a go themselves.
I also drive, so travelling a bit further for lessons would not be an issue, but I would need to charge a little extra for travel depending on the distance.
