About Sophia

As someone who has grown up in a Spanish speaking household it was often challenging to learn other dialects and gramatical Spanish rules that my family did not use. As somebody who has now been fluent in Spanish for 5 years and has taken 6 years of advanced-level Spanish classes I have confidence that I will be able to help your students succeed.
I have tutored extensively throughout high school and grade school and look forward to helping your student learn!

About the lesson

I focus on building a student’s in conjugation and gramatical fluency as well as learning vocabulary from across Latin America. I am also open to more interactive forms of learning like building vocabulary through hands on activities like tasting cultural foods or interactive games.
