Thank the lord that math has nothing to do with writing or English at the least, we only have to worry about numbers and how to solve! I know that many students who are in need of tutoring or any extra lessons have already given up on learning the material themselves. What I like to do is that I will present the material needed and watch how the student presently solves it and then adjust to their learning/solving style. I do not like to abide by one rule or way that a problem should be solved. If a student has a better and much easier way of solving a question, I will most definitely implement their solving methods.
I am a 23-year-old student pursuing a degree in Anthropology and Human Biology with minors of Human Behavior and Mathematics. I have lived in the United States for more than 12 years and have gone through the many experiences that most students have gone through in public, magnet and private schools. I have over 4 years in experience from being a teacher's assistant at Ruby Elementary School in Las Vegas, NV, worked as a private tutor for over 2 years for students in need (in and near home teaching), and I have plenty of experience working at the tutoring center at College of Southern Nevada, University of Las Vegas Nevada and my current university Michigan State University.
