Unlike the methodology used in schools , i prefer to answer your "Whys?". What's the importance of the topic, followed by basics and prerequisites. And then learning the topic to core. Cross questioning and interaction makes learning fun and easy. Studying in a jolly mood is much more effective than studying in fear of failure or punishment. That's what I believe.
