About Anirudh
I have done my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering and am currently pursuing my Master's in Materials Science and Engineering. While I have not taught professionally, I have been giving private tutorials since high school.

If it is a one on one tutorial, it is going to be a regular class. If it is an online session, I shall use an easy to read power point presentation to explain the topic. If it involves explaining a numerical, I would either animate each step or type it then and there.
If it is a group session, I would begin with having some fun and then moving into studies. It's always healthy to begin things with a laugh or a giggle at least. I will be using the Turning point app, it is a polling and response recording app where the anonymity of the students is maintained so no one would hesitate.
I deal with the theory and numericals simultaneously. I believe it is important to have students engaged every step of the way. In order to do that, I shall divide the duration of the class into "pens-down" and "pens-up" sections.
Pens-down-: when you just need to listen to me talk. Of course, note down points that I recommend.
Pens-up: This is when the students work on the questions I give them.
Maybe I might set up a title /championship of sorts on the basis of time management and accuracy. That title will have to be defended every day :)
