About Annemarie
Hello!
My name is Annemarie and I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate born and raised in Calgary.
With over seven years of experience tutoring high school Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, I’m now accepting K-12 students for the current winter semester! Awarded the Gold Medal by Engineers Canada in 2023, I specialize in identifying and bridging the gap between my students and their goals- big or small! I have specialized the structure of my teaching to the learning styles of my students (ex, visual, auditory, kinesthetic, ex). By including diagrams, step by step written solutions, written analysis and a thorough breakdown of problems on a digital whiteboard, this has effectively allowed for students to retain the information with clarity and confidence to apply to their own practice. I strategically plan each meeting with my students to allow for efficient and effective use of time such that students can gain the maximum amount of understanding from each session.
