About Alba

I took 5 years of practice in public and private schools of Guadalajara. 5 years experience giving private children 3-16 years classes. I have had an average of 20 children per academic year in private lessons, some individual classes and others in small groups. All my students have successfully passed the academic year in which they were, with an average of remarkable. Experience in voluntary work with adolescents and adults with Down syndrome and children at risk of social exclusion.

About the lesson

I am a person who is passionate about education, my professional career is focused in this area, and still reciclándome with training courses for teachers. My classes are particularly relevant to children between 0 and 12/13 years, but also I teach in older, to 16. In general all materials that exist in academia, as I have training for it. The technique I use is very simple ... trust in my students. The real key to education is to give students the tools to be competent in academia and in real life. A child safe and confident self and its possibilities can reach anywhere. My specialty is discovery learning. A good phrase to describe my job would be: "Do not give them fish, teach them to fish."
