About Wanja
My undergraduate in Vienna was essentially focusing on my teaching practice on acoustic as well as electric guitar. I have experience in teaching for 8+ years and am open to various kinds of styles, pop, rock, jazz, folk, indie & more for students of all ages. I teach at my studio space but also do at-home teaching or online lessons via Zoom.

My first goal with every student is getting to play music from the very beginning. That means playing songs/pieces and exercises which relate to the material we’re working on. I usually try to find a balance between working on what the student wants to play as well as introducing them to material they don’t know. I definitely also adapt to the students’ ambitions. Some don’t have that much time and just want to play some easy songs. Others want to go deeper and work on technique and music theory. I am open for whatever demand works for you. I teach various kinds of styles, pop, rock, jazz, folk, indie & more for students of all ages. I teach at my studio space but also do at-home teaching or online lessons via Zoom.

Perfect! I am very lucky to have found Wanja. He listened carefully to my goals and comes prepared to our lessons every week. Wanja is helping me improve my picking technique, left hand efficiency, music theory and is introducing me to Gypsy Jazz! I would highly recommend him!
- Great inspired lesson, with a lot of motivation for different subjects in learning the guitar. Eager for more!Wanja's response :
