About Jenna
A personal strength of my teaching is my ability to motivate and engage learners in their own learning process so that students make meaningful connections to the content that they are learning. This allows students to critically apply skills and practices both in the classroom or learning setting and in the world around them. As a result of this strength, I have successfully created learning environments in which students feel comfortable questioning, exploring, and analyzing what it is they are learning.

I am able to consider the variety of learners in a classroom and how various instructional strategies may be used to support those learners. I'm exceptional at creating successful learning experiences for students in which they not only feel motivated to learn but are engaged and are provided with differentiated strategies to best suit their specific learning needs. I ensure the learning environment for students is positive and maintains a low risk atmosphere to promote the most elevated potential for students to learn. It is essential that students feel in control of their own learning and become autonomous learners in which they are able to construct their own meaning and knowledge. Therefore, I strive to facilitate those learning practices in any learning setting.
