About Iris
I finished my B.A. degrees at UCI and am currently a graduate student at NYU in the Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program. I was born and raised in Suzhou, China. Chinese is my native language. I have been an assistant teaching artist for one year with local K-12 students as well as a learning assistant for one quarter for undergraduate-level students.

I based my class on Bloom's Taxonomy, and I believe that comprehension, as well as understanding, is the basic elements for further application and evaluation. I wish to approach the lesson in a friendly and interesting way since I understand the hardship of learning a second language.
