About Sirena
I offer a personalized, artist-focused approach to songwriting that meets each individual exactly where they are. As an NYU-trained songwriter, I teach the technical foundations, lyric writing, melody, and song structure, while also supporting the emotional and creative process behind meaningful work.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Counseling and Mental Health, which allows me to thoughtfully incorporate emotional awareness and self-expression into the songwriting process when helpful. This creates a supportive, reflective space where students can explore their voice with more depth and confidence.
Whether you’re writing for personal projects or working toward professional goals, I help you develop your unique sound, strengthen your skills, and turn ideas into fully realized songs in a collaborative and encouraging environment.

It all begins with a goal in mind, I’ll help guide you there. My lessons are collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each student, whether you’re just starting out or refining your craft. I focus on lyric writing, melody, song structure, and artistic identity, while creating space for creativity and personal expression. My approach blends technical skill with emotional depth, helping you not only write stronger songs but feel more connected to what you’re expressing. Lessons are flexible and conversational, we might workshop your ideas, explore new prompts, or try songwriting for the first time. Assignments may include writing a verse and chorus from a prompt, melody exercises over chord progressions, rewriting lyrics from new perspectives, constraint-based writing, analyzing songs you love, or developing a full song from a voice memo or journal entry.
