Hello everyone,
I'm an NYU student athlete with a competitive GPA and a strong background in calculus (Calculus 1-3). My academic success reflects my deep understanding of mathematics, and I'm passionate about sharing this knowledge with you. As your instructor, I bring professionalism, punctuality, and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment. Together, we'll explore math beyond formulas, developing critical thinking skills essential for various disciplines. Hi, my name is Makai Harder and I am student athlete at NYU with a concentration in math and economics.
Typically, I would start a lesson with a Warm-Up Activity such as an Ice Breaker question. For example:
"Can you think of any ways math might be used in a real world scenario"
Next, We would proceed to an interactive activity.
Using a hypothetical scenario, we will use various mathematical concepts to solve problems applicable to the real world.
following the interactive activity, I will then go into help with homework and question regarding schoolwork.
I would then conclude the lesson with a conclusion and reflection.
My lessons are designed for middle school to high school students in order to prepare them for classes such as algebra and calculus.
