My methodology is based upon the students ability, some are visual and some are auditory learners. So I try and base my lessons around this.
I start with a aim and develop lesson plans according to this.
I pause after certain intervals to check if everything has been understood.
Once I have explained the rules and followed up with some examples I limit my speech and observe whilst helping when needed.
