About Mann

I teach Chemistry, Computer Science (Python and MySQL), and Mathematics to high school students and younger. Currently, I’m majoring in Computer Science at the University of Calgary, with a strong academic background including top high school marks: 93% in Chemistry, 96% in Computer Science, and 90% in Mathematics. I became a tutor because I believe every student can unlock their potential with the right guidance. One rewarding moment was witnessing a student transform frustration into confidence after grasping a tough concept. I enjoy making learning an empowering experience that boosts self-belief and curiosity. When students struggle, I focus on patience and customized strategies that turn challenges into achievable goals. My teaching style is student-centered, emphasizing clear explanations, real-world examples, and hands-on problem-solving to build strong conceptual foundations. I’m dedicated to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to succeed. What truly sets me apart is my ability to simplify complex ideas into understandable steps and my commitment to each student’s growth.

About the lesson

The way he taught me Chemistry 30 was genius, he had his notes prepared which he shared with me the moment we met. He explained the notes thoroughly and made me solve some problems too. Believe me I have had quite a lot of difficulty learning Chemistry but he made sure that whatever he taught me actually remained in my brain. He would randomly go back to an earlier topic and give me a question from it to check if I had not forgotten anything. All in all I would highly recommend this guy, he is amazing at his stuff.
