About Nishy
I am a dedicated GCSE tutor offering online lessons in Maths, Biology and Chemistry via Zoom. I aim to make learning clear, structured and approachable, helping students build both a strong understanding of the subject content and the exam skills needed to succeed.
My lessons focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, logical steps, followed by guided practice and exam-style questions to ensure students can confidently apply what they have learned. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, active recall and identifying individual areas for improvement, so each session is tailored to the student’s specific needs and goals.
I achieved grades 8/9s in my GCSEs, including grade 9s in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I completed my GCSEs last year. This means I have up-to-date knowledge of the current specification, exam structure and effective revision strategies. Alongside this, I have over a year of tutoring experience, working with students of different abilities to help them improve their confidence and academic performance.
I am committed to creating a supportive and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. My goal is to help each student improve their understanding, gain confidence, and achieve their target grades.

I deliver structured, interactive online lessons designed to build both understanding and exam confidence. I focus on clear explanations of key concepts, followed by guided practice and exam-style questions to develop strong application and technique. I also use targeted questioning to identify gaps in knowledge and adapt each lesson to the student’s needs.
A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, though this can be adjusted depending on the student’s preference and goals. Lessons are held online via Zoom, making them flexible and accessible.
I achieved grades 8/9s in my GCSEs, including grade 9s in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I sat my GCSEs last year, so I have up-to-date knowledge of the current specification and exam requirements. I also have over a year of tutoring experience helping students improve their confidence and results.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE students (typically ages 14–16) studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry, whether they are aiming to strengthen their understanding, improve exam technique, or work towards top grades (7–9).
