About Watkins
"Picture the sound of a French cafe where you finally understand every word spoken at the next table. We will refine your accent and intonation through targeted dialogue practice and role play. My lessons cover everything from travel French to business terminology and exam prep like the DELF or DALF.
I bring 17 years of experience to every interaction. We will break down liaison sounds and verb conjugation until they feel second nature. This process is rewarding and quite fun."

"Hearing the crisp snap of a correctly articulated nasal sound is the first sign of real progress. My classroom is built on the reality of being a trilingual educator who has lived in France, Canada, and Colombia. I hold a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College Columbia and a CELTA. These tools help me guide immigrants and travelers through the complexities of pronunciation and accent work.
I often work with families who speak multiple languages at home and need to integrate French into that mix. It is a pleasure to help intermediate learners navigate the nuance of a new culture. I am ready to support your move and help you reach your specific goals."
