I keep a dictionary on my desk at all times because languages are always shifting. Dealing with the nuances of Latin American and Castilian variants is part of my daily life as a professional translator.
I earned my BA Linguistics degree to understand how these systems function. Over 18 years, I have worked with 103 students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced hobbyists. I treat language as a living puzzle. It is quite rewarding.
My background allows me to pinpoint exactly why a certain verb conjugation feels tricky for you. I look forward to helping you reach your specific Spanish goals.
