About Georgia

My name is Georgia, and I am an undergraduate studying biology with secondary education science. I just finished my A Levels at Wolverhampton Girls' High School. During my time in school, I had the privilege of tutoring younger students but my favourite part was building amazing relationships with younger students. I am looking to continue growing as an educator which is why I am so excited about this opportunity to help you succeed in science, maths and your 11+.

About the lesson

I teach my students by asking them their weak and strong points, I interview them and chat to them as if they were a friend who needs help. Before teaching the content, I’d ask them to do a few questions and exercises (exam questions, recall, etc.) to jog their memory and to get a clearer picture of what they need help on. I want to ensure that their tutoring session is theirs. I would then help them with the content and delve into how they can structure their exam questions, express mistakes I’ve made in the past and how to avoid them and after I would provide them a personal OneDrive/Google Drive of resources made for them. If they wanted to, they could email me for more help if they were to be very stuck on a topic, question, etc. Lessons will take place over webcam due to COVID.
