Piers is a fantastic and very enthusiastic teacher. He assisted my daughter for every stage of her Spanish Leaving Cert exam in 2025. This included intensive Oral exam preparation, core written exam skills and also strong enhancement of her listening skills for the aural section. I got weekly grinds from Piers all through my Leaving Cert year. He has a very good understanding of what is required for the exams and takes a systematic approach to prepare you as best as possible for each exam. As a person, he is friendly and easy to approach, made me feel it was ok to make mistakes and is very encouraging. I’m convinced that I will get a higher grade for Spanish than I would without his help. He made learning Spanish more understandable and I learned to enjoy the language more. Piers majorly helped my grades in Higher level Spanish as I was a student barely being able to pass the subject in 5th year. Through areas I struggled with, like grammar and sentence structure, he continuously practised on a weekly basis with me and gave great exercises and worksheets to practice at home. He gave great advice and help and I began to see my grades rise after one month of tutoring.
