My teaching method is to make sure that a learner understands everything I'm teaching by using diagrams, simple language, and giving notes and tell how the exam paper would be. Making learners be free to ask and tell me where they meet challenges so that I can help by bringing solutions to their problems If you have specific problematic areas I start by teaching the content then providing you with various test questions to see if you do understand and can tackle the work. If you cannot identify problematic areas , we start the first lessons with a general quiz to identify the work you struggle in. . I provide you with you questions to help you cover the entire syllabus and gain insight on how you will be tested. I guarantee you that you will see similar or same questions inyour exams . Please note lesson offered to international students will be R300/h due to bank charge’s

  • When did you develop an interest in your subject and in private tutoring?

I started developing an interest in tutoring in 2019 when I started to love mathematics.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

In maths, I am good in algebra, Euclidean geometry, trigonometry, functions, analytical geometry, finance maths, probability, statistics, economics etc.
  • Did you have any role models? Perhaps a teacher that inspired you?

Yes, my role model was my high school teacher Mr Rachili. He is my hero, without him I don’t know where I would be now, because of him I am now at Wits University. He taught me not to give up on life, he taught me to have passion. He was a good believer and he would fight until he wins his fight. He taught me maths until I enjoyed it. Now it's my turn to pay back by sharing the knowledge he gave me with others. I thank him for the role he played in my life.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

A good tutor does not give up on students. In life, people are different, others are fast while others are slow in understanding, but as a tutor, you need to use your skills to make sure all those students will end up understanding. As a tutor, you need to put hope and confidence in your students. Motivate and encourage your students. Make sure your student is free around you and that they ask questions. Treat all students equally and include incentives when students meet your requirements and targets. Build a good relationship between a parent and a student and trust among them.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing at school?

As I am a student at university sometimes I’ll be writing, preparing exams but I make sure that I’ve covered my work to my students, sometimes if I’m really busy. The difficulty is when I have many students and I have exams I find it difficult to push with them but now I’ve got my own trained tutors who help me. I train other people to help me get more students.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general, an element of this particular subject, or something completely different?

In my students I have passion and I love teaching, this is my dream and I want to share the knowledge I have with others.
  • What makes you a Superprof?

To be a superprof, I need to share the knowledge I have with others and see others succeed in life, and achieve my dreams.
