About Leila
I have 28 years of playing experience and 10 years of teaching experience. Along with a performance and teaching diploma from ABRSM and the London College of Music as well as a BA Hons degree in Music and Humanities from the Open University, I have taught well over 100 students from all walks of life, ages and ability levels. Teaching experience comes from face to face lessons as well as online with help of Skype/Zoom/Facetime in a relaxed, informal and fun setting!

I teach everyone from complete beginners all the way up to ABRSM Grade 8 standard. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced musician, whether you are training for exams or just playing for fun, I'll help you get to your goal. We'll cover all aspects of practical performance, musical theory including the mandatory ABRSM Grade 5 theory exam in a relaxed, fun and informal setting. My teaching philosophy is about listening to you, what you want to learn, what you might be struggling with etc so that I can help you to make measured progress in your musical education.
