About Marcella

I am a 19-year-old university student currently studying a BA in Italian and English Literature. I have grown up speaking Italian my whole life and spend much of my time there. I have now taken Italian not only as a second language but am using this language for my future career goals. I am a motivated student who is looking for anyone who wants to improve at any level, I can offer a free trial lesson and will work with the student to achieve the level they are looking for, my hours are very flexible.

About the lesson

I can offer lessons for any abilities, structuring the sessions accordingly with respect to the confidence of each individual student. I can offer a trial lesson to gain a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. From previous experiences tutoring my classmates and younger years at GCSE I have obtained many skills allowing my students to understand what they may struggle with in class and gain confidence in one-on-one sessions. Having achieved an A* in GCSE and an A at A level and continuing my passion for Italian at a degree level, I believe I can strengthen my student's academic skills and confidence in exam and classroom situations. A typical length for my lessons is 50 minutes, allowing for questions throughout on any topic they may struggle with. My lessons are for a range of availabilities from Key Stage 3 to A Level.
