I am an OFSTED "Outstanding" primary school teacher with six years of experience. I have taught in both the state and private sectors and I specialise in preparing children to "hit the ground running" at their new secondary schools.
As a class teacher and a private tutor I have consistently helped children to gain entry into highly selective independent and grammar schools. I have also given a vital boost to children who were at risk of being overwhelmed by the academic expectations at secondary school.
My lessons are academically rigorous yet fun and engaging. My warm, friendly and fun manner is frequently commented upon positively by both students and parent alike.
Prior to entering the teaching profession I studied at the University of St Andrews, gaining an MA (Hons.) degree in International Relations.
In my spare time I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and tennis.
