About Dylan
I am a recently graduated student with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. My style has begun centering around figurative work with a little bit id abstraction, but I am capable of creating and showing how to create a variety of styles. I have been a studio monitor for sculpture classes and aided students in my other classes, such as painting, drawing, photography, and graphic design. I have a good knowledge based concerning art history as well, which is very beneficial to creating art in general.

I start off every tutoring session by first getting an understanding of what the student is working on and trying to achieve. Whether it's a specific style or a desired response from viewers, it's best to start with a goal. From there we go into sketches and ideas to choose the best route. If the painting already exists we discuss the best ways to improve the outcome. There is a lot that goes into a painting, but by breaking it down and taking it one step at a time, it becomes more manageable. The best rule is to work from the big picture to the small picture, ensuring everything is accounted for before refining the details.
