My lessons move at the pace of the students capacity for the moment.
I like to get them on some of my favorite practices math practice websites for a couple minutes of practice before we begin so, I can also get a somewhat understanding of the childs placement in education before further evaluation, ( only the first lesson) but I’m more hands on and visual . I’m an outdoorsy person so I like to be present and off-screens during that time. I understand that some kids learn better 1 on 1, or while other kids learn and pick up on things more by being active, around someone in a closer age range . I understand a lot more than most , I have a non-verbal autistic brother so I promise your child is in good hands and can learn comfortably with me !
Everyone is different, there isn’t just one way to teach and I could explain that all day but, everyone learns differently and that’s how I work.
