About David

After several years of working in software training, support and development, I started working as an independent English teacher for adults (business, academic and general), as well as a translator from Hebrew to English.

I worked as an interpreter in the courts, and translated a wide variety of documents, including wills, marketing materials, web content, movie scripts, catalogs, etc. I finished a course for English teachers at Beit Berel College.

I taught English to ultra-Orthodox students who wanted to enter the world of work through SPEAK NOW language schools in Berlitz, and also to private students. I also volunteer in ESRA's "Teacher Chat" program (an organization of English-speaking residents) and Orot Israel College's "Native Speaker" program that help Israeli high school English teachers develop confidence in English communication by improving Their conversational skills, and their career advancement.

About the lesson

In my English lessons, the emphasis is on communication in the language, both spoken and written, for any purpose, according to the requirements and abilities of the student.

The lessons can include conversation, practice in reading, reading comprehension, and writing in matters relevant to the student's needs.

I have a background in high-tech and a wide variety of commercial environments.

I gained experience as an English teacher at Berlitz and !SPEAK NOW language schools and also as a private teacher. I also volunteer in the programs of the ESRA organization and Orot College as a teacher for English teachers who wish to develop their confidence in the language.

The classes are intended for anyone who wishes to develop their self-confidence in the use
of the English language in all environments.
