About Seonaid
I am a two-time Olympian and international athlete who has combined over a decade of competing at the highest level with completing three university degrees. This unique journey has taught me discipline, focus, and resilience—qualities I bring into my teaching. I take pride in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and build their understanding step by step. With experience in mentoring young people through national sport programmes and delivering talks in schools and organisations, I understand how to connect with learners of different ages and abilities. Professional, approachable, and passionate about education, I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

My approach to tutoring is supportive, practical, and tailored to each student. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, and I encourage active discussion to make sure students really understand the material rather than just memorise it. A typical lesson lasts around an hour, though I can be flexible depending on the student’s needs. As a two-time Olympian and graduate with three degrees, I have extensive experience balancing high-level performance with academic achievement. I bring this experience into my teaching, helping students not only develop subject knowledge but also build confidence, focus, and resilience in their learning. I offer lessons for secondary school pupils studying for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher.
