About Gail
Maybe lessons will help the student to be less shy. Another measurement of success besides singing well would be to develop a higher sense of self. I think the title, "The joy of singing" inculcates the nature of my teaching.

The physical body and how it is used is paramount to good singing. Good posture and proper use of the support ( intercostal muscles) as they apply to breath is essential. Students will have varying experiences with this concept. Sometimes the student needs help with pitch. I address this with training the ear to hear more accurately.
