About Anthony
I have a diploma and degree in music. I love writing songs, recording and playing live. I also value collaboration, having written tracks with acts such as 'The Gill Scott Heron band' and been involved in recording sessions at Parr Street studios in Liverpool. I've played multiple festivals and regularly show up in local bar gigs in Glasgow. I am currently part of duo who specialise in vocal harmonies! For me music was never a choice and it's a big part of who I am. (I like to say I would have been the tribe drummer if this was prehistoric times!)
Something must resonate in my teaching style because I've had a couple of hits online with my 'micro lessons'. For example, my lesson on the 'CAGED' method for acoustic guitar had over 50,000 views on Reddit. A lot of people said I explained things in a way that that helped them grasp a concept they couldn't before, so I must be doing something right!

I like to teach in a style that suits the learner. If you want to work through your grades and build yourself up, lets do it! If you want to become a more intuitive player, I can also give you the tools.
Or maybe you want to be a songwriter? I can help you get in touch with your inner musician and help you use the guitar as tool to express yourself.
I have taught (all ages) privately in music schools and at home. People often say I make them feel relaxed. I really want to help my students find their own musical identity and empower them with theory but also hone there musical instincts.
