About Lily
I was brought up in a family full of art and creativity, where self-expression and imagination were always encouraged. That early exposure shaped my passion for the arts, leading me to study Art & Textiles at GCSE, followed by A-Levels in Textiles and Photography. I went on to earn a degree in Creative Media, where I explored storytelling through visual and digital forms. My background gives me a broad, hands-on understanding of both traditional and contemporary art practices, and I love sharing that knowledge in a way that’s accessible, inspiring, and tailored to each learner’s journey.

What makes my art history lessons unique is the balance between storytelling and critical thinking. I don’t just teach dates and movements—I help students connect with the why behind the art, the cultural context, and the voices of the artists themselves. Lessons are tailored to your interests, whether you love Renaissance masterpieces, modern abstraction, or anything in between. We’ll explore not just what was created, but how it shaped (and was shaped by) the world around it. I also integrate visual analysis, discussion-based learning, and creative tasks to keep sessions dynamic, engaging, and memorable.
