Perfect! Aún sigo con él, llevamos pocas clases debido al poco tiempo del que dispongo, pero me encanta el método de aprendizaje. Tiene material para estudiar y va avanzando según vas mejorando. Es muy paciente a la hora de enseñarte pronunciación, que es lo más complicado. Totalmente recomendable.

Perfect! Creo que James es un excelente profesor. Desde la primera lección, ha sabido adaptarse a mis necesidades y sacar el mejor rendimiento de mis conocimientos anteriores para lograr expresarme poco a poco en chino. Es paciente y metódico. Todo el contenido tratado en clase te lo envía por internet al día siguiente para que puedas repasarlo . Lo recomiendo. Es de toda confianza, muy profesional y de trato muy agradable.

Perfect! En mi caso, hace unos años empecé a estudiar chino (mi nivel se sitúa entre el HSK3-4) pero todas las academias a las que fui presentaban el vocabulario, gramática, etc. de una manera muy desorganizada. Con lo cual me resultaba muy difícil aprender de forma eficiente.
De primera mano puedo decir que James ha sido el mejor profesor de chino que he tenido hasta ahora. Se adapta muy bien a las necesidades personales de cada uno, a mí me dejó sorprendidísima de lo mucho que se preparaba las clases.
Además, los días de la semana que no teníamos clase me resolvía cualquier duda que pudiera tener, y siempre ha estado muy atento en cuanto facilitarme videos, canciones, hasta librillos de chino para que pudiera mejorar (comprándolos él y "gastando" su tiempo libre). Si necesitaba una clase formal en cuanto a gramática/vocabulario, me la daba; al igual que si quería saber algún aspecto de la cultura china me lo explicaba todo con más detalles de los que yo pedía. En resumen, recomiendo al 100% a James para cualquier nivel de chino que uno tenga.

In my case, I have been studying Chinese for some years now (my level is comprised between HSK3-4) but all the academies where I used to study presented the vocabulary, grammar, etc. in an extremely disorganized way. That made me lose time and made it difficult to learn efficiently.
I can first-hand claim that James has been the best Chinese teacher I had in all this time. He adapts really well to the personal lacks of every individual. I was pleasantly surprised by his level of implication in the preparation of the classes. Moreover, during the week, in non-classes time, he answered and helped me with whatever doubts I had regarding the language; he even wastes some of his free time to look for videos/songs that can be useful for you to keep learning. What's more, he even wasted his money to buy some Chinese Stories books that are really interesting and easy to learn with.

When I needed a formal class focused on grammar/vocabulary, he gave me this class; the same happened when I wanted to know an aspect of the Chinese culture, he ended up explaining far more details than the ones I asked for.
To sum up, I highly recommend having James as a Chinese teacher without hesitation, whatever the Chinese level that one may have.

Perfect! James is a very good teacher, specially for speaking. He knows how to slow down when you need it and how to give you the feedback and explanations if requested. It's also a proactive teacher, so he always looks for interaction. I recommend James for all levels.

Excellent! We took 5 classes with James to be prepared for out trip to China and enjoyed the classes a lot. James is a great teacher and adapted perfectly to our needs for the trip.
