About Ellie
Teaching English is my favourite thing in the world. I think I can use my empathetic and generous nature to convey a passion for English and combine this with how I explain grammar rules, or I help my students improve their pronunciation. It is important to me to make sure that they understand when we decide to learn a new language we are offering ourselves the very great privilege to explore a new version of ourselves. We are opening our world wider, opening our minds broader and this is just such a wonderful feeling. I also believe when we are drawn to things this is because they are already in us and we merely need to take the time and care enough to carve them out and dig deep enough to set them free and let them shine. I encourage my students and make sure they feel good about their learning journey even if they feel like they are stalling and that they are not progressing. I know how hard this can be, I learned that myself!
