About Laura
I am a coach and tutor as well as a yoga teacher and I have been running my own businesses for the last 12 years. I have qualifications in teaching yoga and aerial yoga, ten years as a yoga practitioner, and seven years as an aerialist. I developed Conscious Yoga by considering the needs of my clients and combining these with my own experiences as an aerialist and yogi. In the last 12 years, yoga and aerial have been my safe places, places where I can wind down, release and find calm, as well as pushing my body and achieving things I never thought I could. I enjoy bringing other people to that fun, calm, happy place. My approach is based on hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga, but also draws principles from mindfulness and self-care. Fundamentally, I believe that yoga and aerial should be for everyone and if we listen to our bodies, we can all do valuable work for ourselves both on the mat and in the air.

Online yoga for people with floor space and online aerial yoga for people with a hammock in their home. Classes are private and cost £14 for 40 minutes (floor yoga and aerial yoga), with a first 30-minute taster class for free! After the class, I will share a recording with you that lasts for the week. Classes can be weekly, fortnightly or one-offs. These private online yoga and aerial yoga classes are affordable and flexible, with the classes tailored to reflect your needs and goals, be these fitness, relaxation, mindfulness, focus etc. These classes are for adults only. I'm afraid I don't teach children's yoga. IF YOU ARE RIGGING AN AERIAL HAMMOCK IN YOUR HOME, PLEASE BE AWARE IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE IT IS SAFE, SECURE AND AT A SAFE DISTANCE FROM OTHER OBJECTS IN THE ROOM. IF IN DOUBT, CONSULT A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER.

I attend Laura's aerial yoga classes when she is teaching in Edinburgh and also do one to one online aerial yoga with Laura. Laura is a highly knowledgeable and experienced aerial yoga instructor. Having practised aerial yoga for over 12 years, I have been to a range of classes and Laura's are the best! I made the mistake of thinking using the lower hammock would be easier but Laura uses the low hammock in a way that challenges you just the right amount. Laura's group classes cater well to people with a variety of experience and the online one to one classes are fab at pushing me in a way I don't push myself when I practice at home. I can't recommend Laura highly enough.
