Super Tutor

Lauren is one of our best Information Technology tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Lauren

I am currently studying BSc Computing at Edge Hill University and am beginning my third and final year. My prior computing experience includes GCSE and A level Computing / Computer Science, as well as being MTA certified in Information Security Fundamentals.

I run a blog in spare time, Cocktails and Code, where I post tutorials and resources for computing and business.

Previously, I have been a young leader with the Scouts and I often run demonstrations at my university for prospective students.

About the lesson

Lessons will be structured with an introduction to a topic, core concepts and solidification of knowledge and a final recap at the end of each session.

As a computer science tutor, all resources will be online, free and accessible to each student. Tutoring sessions will also be adapted to individuals, their personal requirements and learning styles.

Jump onto Zoom, Skype or Microsoft teams for a free 30 minutes consultation to figure out if my lessons are for you!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by students with Lauren.

Perfect! My 12y old had his first lesson with Lauren and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lauren is motivating, enthusiastic, and she built a good rapport with my son, who was keen to talk about what he had learned during the lesson. The lesson and feedback after the lesson was excellent.

Lauren's response
It has been a pleasure to meet both Grant and his son.

We've had one lesson currently, excluding our initial meeting, and it was terrific! Max clearly wants to learn and tried really hard in the lesson, scoring nearly 100% on our end-of-class quiz. He is a pleasure to tutor.

I've always known Lauren to intelligent, but her leadership and listening skills totally shined when I (finally) asked her for some help with our coursework. Her dedication is insane!

I have known Lauren for approximately 18 months. She is an extremely hard working and dedicated individual who has supported me through much of my own work, and helped me to achieve things I would never have managed without her tutoring.

I have found Lauren to be very approachable and friendly, whilst maintaining the utmost professionalism at all times. She is incredibly well organised and extremely knowledgeable in the field of computing, and this is so evident in the way she is able to break things down and teach her subject matter. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone wishing to get into this field.

I've been following Lauren from around July 2020, using the term following lightly as I mean on social media.

She's consistently posting useful documents and tutorials on her blog, which is so helpful and generous, with that right balance between professional and your best friend.

That's probably what will make her a brilliant tutor, because you'll have the face-to-face lessons but also have extra resources online too!
