About Andrea
Before we begin your course, we will discuss your goals and I will analyze your needs. Based on these findings, I'll design a course plan. For instance, if you need to take a test like the IELTS, we will focus on the test model and the specifics to get you the score you need. If your goal is to develop fluency, we will work on vocabulary and grammatical structures; if you need to improve your reading comprehension of technical documents, we will work on reading skills and translation techniques.

Hello! I am Andréa Câmara and teaching English is my profession.
I have over 20 years of experience teaching in language schools companies, as a private tutor. In addition, the USA was my home for 12 years, where I learned about the American culture as well as about international business and other cultures.
I am certified by the University of Michigan in Proficiency in English and the University of Cambridge to teach English to Adults (CELTA), I also give lectures to English teachers in the areas of distance learning, technology, best practices, and my interests are: teaching pronunciation and helping my students develop fluency and overcome the intermediate level plateau.
The most important thing about me is that I love teaching and I love learning. I'm always studying, participating in teacher conferences and events and investing to better myself as a professional so I can offer my students the best class they can have.
