About Devon
My name is Devon, I have been a tutor for just over a year now and I have found it by far the most satisfying career i have pursued. the feeling of helping a student gradually begin to understand a topic that they previously did not is incredibly gratifying and something i always strive to get better at. I have always had a passion Maths and science achieving 9s in both at GCSE and As in physics, maths and biology at A level resulting in me now studying for a Biosciences degree at Sheffield University. Hopefully this tells you a little bit about just how passionate i am for Maths and Science and specifically Maths and Science Tutoring. I hope to see you in a session soon!

My sessions are for GCSE students with a wide range of abilities and the learning material will be tailored accordingly to suit your needs. My typical lesson layout is one hour long and is generally comprised of both 1. an in depth explanation of a topic you feel you need a deeper understanding of and 2. a guided look at example exam questions to help prepare you for the real thing. The subjects we go through in a session are entirely up to you as you best know what areas you need assistance with. I have found this technique has been very effective with students especially in the run up to GCSEs.
