About Alexander
Understanding the fundamental operation of reality as best as I can is a constant life-goal of mine. As the great Richard Feynman said: "If you want to master something, teach it." There is a unique type of understanding you can get when you can not only do something well, but can teach it well, that you can get no other way. It's prehaps a selfish reason to teach, but it is an honest one. There is deep beauty in every part of mathematics and physics and it is my hope to not only help my tutees with impoving their grades, but also to instil some appreciation of the beauty of good mathematical reasoning.

When it comes to learning Maths and Physics there is no substitue for putting the work in, but sometimes the benifit of experience is exactly what we need to find that new approch to solve the problem.
The real skill then is to learn how to isolate stubling blocks, play with simplified versions of the problem, and learn how to be a better problem solver, equiped with strategies and tools so that we can learn how to get ourselves unstuck.
I've tutored peers, friends, and family informally for years now and I've yet to find a single thing that any sufficiently motivated tutee cannot learn.
Lesson times between 45 mins and an hour, all ages and levels GCSE and up are welcome!

I have known Alex for many years, and I know him to be an honest and reliable person with a good knowledge of mathematics and physics. Although he has never taught me (I am somewhat older than him), we have often discussed maths and physics together.
I highly recommend Alexander as a tutor. He demonstrates strong expertise in his subject matter and communicates complex concepts clearly. He turns maths and physics (a typically complex thing for me) into fun and exciting world. I highly recommend
