About Yusuf

Hi, I'm Yusuf! I'm a final-year computer engineering student, and foreign languages have always been my greatest passion. I'm currently learning my fourth language and hold a JLPT N3 certification in Japanese. I don't just learn languages; as a software developer, I also develop my own language learning apps and interactive projects, constantly thinking about how people can learn languages more effectively and permanently. In addition, my interest in psychology and analyzing human behavior allows me to empathize with my students and quickly understand their learning styles. As both an analytically minded engineering student and a creative person (I also create my own games and pixel art!), I can't wait to guide you through those challenging but exciting first steps of learning a new language. Let's start your Japanese language journey on a solid and enjoyable note!

About the lesson

If you're starting to learn Japanese from scratch, I know very well that the most challenging part is taking the first step. In our lessons, we completely abandon standard, boring, and tiring rote memorization methods. With an engineer's perspective, I break down the language's analytical structure and grammatical logic into small pieces, making it as understandable as possible for you. Drawing on my experience from my own language learning processes and system designs, I integrate into our lessons how the mind accepts a new language more easily and permanently. Thanks to my interest in human behavior and learning psychology, I understand that every student learns differently. Therefore, instead of a standard model, we proceed by finding methods that best suit your learning pace, perception, and motivation. We will solve the alphabet (Hiragana/Katakana) and basic N5 topics step by step, not like a daunting pile of information, but like a logical and enjoyable puzzle. Our goal is not to memorize rules, but to truly understand the unique logic of Japanese and build a very solid foundation!
