About Andrei

I’m a Computer Science student at UCC and a lab tutor for the university’s Algorithms and Data Structures module.

Maths has always been my favourite subject: I scored 92/100 in the advanced maths state exam in Russia, and at school I often helped classmates who were stuck on a topic.

I teach in person in Cork and online, and online lessons continue uninterrupted through the school year, right up to the Leaving Cert.

About the lesson

Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert Maths, Higher and Ordinary Level. We cover Paper 1 and Paper 2 topics, work through past papers, and use the official marking schemes so you know where marks are won and lost.

The first lesson finds your weak spots, and we build a plan around your exam from there.

Ask as many questions as you like. There’s no such thing as a silly one, and I’d rather you stop me than nod along.

Andrei is my lab tutor for Algorithms & Data Structures at university, and I can't recommend him highly enough. He has a real gift for taking topics that feel overwhelming at first (like recursion, graphs, all these difficult topics in the module) and breaking them down into smaller pieces until they make sense.
