About June
Hi! I’m June, a second-year Economics student at University College London (UCL). I’m fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and I’ve always enjoyed working with younger students; partly thanks to growing up with a younger brother who is eight years younger than me, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to explain things clearly from a young age. Academically, I completed the International Baccalaureate with a score of 40/45, including a 7/7 in Mathematics. My strong academic foundation, combined with my multicultural background and real-life experience supporting younger learners, allows me to connect well with students from a variety of age groups and learning styles. I’m approachable, organised, and genuinely motivated to help others succeed. I believe that a positive mindset and steady encouragement can make a real difference in a student’s academic journey.

I offer a patient, supportive, and adaptable approach to teaching mathematics. My goal is to help students truly understand key concepts by explaining them in clear, original, and simplified ways tailored to each learner’s style. During our sessions, we will work through course content and exercises together to build both confidence and mastery. Lessons typically range from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I teach students aged 8 to 17 and have prior experience tutoring young learners, which has deepened my understanding of how children and teens process and retain information.
