About Ana
I used to struggle with my confidence in math and my own abilities. However after getting a tutor to help me persevere and trust in my own brain and skills, I achieved 90% for Math in Matric, doing the IEB syllabus. I want to help students build confidence, especially since I know the feeling of it being 'too late' to progress in Math. It's not about studying for hours straight and memorizing content, it's studying smarter and knowing the key nuances between different mathematical concepts that often get students stumped in exams.

My lessons involve creating realistic study plans to revise and understand content, then practice and struggle with typical exercises and then move onto mock exams.
I will be there every step of the way to help students with any questions where there is no such thing as "being stupid."
For homework I am just a text message away.
15 minute Consultation sessions are free and I only teach in English.
I prefer teaching Grades 9 to 12 specifically within the IEB curriculum.
I believe that confidence, consistent practice and a calm and positive attitude create the ultimate recipe for good results.
