About Paul
Hi, my name is Paul Terry. I'm a musician and teacher who has almost 20 years teaching experience with children secondary age and adults.
I've performed around the world, in festivals, arenas (inc 3Arena, Dublin), concert halls (inc Royal Albert Hall), theatres, churches, cathedrals and also performances on BBC1, Ireland AM and SKYnews.
Online lessons means that you can stay in the comfort of your own home and still have a lesson. I have been teaching this way for a year and a half, and it's so much easier than it sounds. I also have two cameras, unlike most online teachers. Ask me any questions - I can also send you a link to to ore information on my website.
The first lesson is free and lasts about 30 mins, so I can help you set up and find out about your musical goals.
A bit more about me:
In addition to classical music, I also have a deep knowledge of music theory making it easily to show you how to improvise, compose and write songs. I've a backlog of published pieces that is available on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube under the name Paul G Terry. If you are interested in composing and songwriting, I can offer lots of support and knowledge to get your pieces recorded.

I've written Classical, Ballads, Indie, Film Soundtracks, Rock and Electronica tracks. I can show you how easy it is!
For your safety I hold an up-to-date enhanced child workforce DBS check, and am fully insured for public liability.

We can work together finding pieces of music that you like, and I will show you how music actually works - it's really easy!! We'll start from the bottom and build your knowledge so that you can play what ever style you want. Jazz, Rock, Classical, Folk, Soul...you name it!
