About Veronica
Teaching is the most rewarding job I have ever done. I got my BA in English Literature in 2000 from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, my PGCE from Southampton University in 2003 and went straight into teaching High School. I am enthusiastic about my subject and find the most rewarding thing a student can say is 'I never thought about it like that!'

My teaching techniques and methodology will be catered to your individual needs. Whether you are looking for additional support for a student who is struggling or for enrichment for a student who is flying and is hungry for more, I can help.
We would have an initial 45 min assessment to go over your/child's strengths, weaknesses, worries and enthusiasms and then agree a program of support/enrichment. This could also be lesson by lesson decision, based on what you've been studying that week.
The length of a lesson can be flexible to cater to a variety of attention spans but would typically be between 30mins to an hour and a half, depending on availability and your preference.
A well as teaching GCSE and A level at Secondary school for a number of years, I've held a number of jobs where teaching and mentoring were part of the role. I also have counselling qualifications which may help the more anxious student. I am happy to teach any age and for most purposes - if you want help/support for your grade, to improve it or are just interested in the subject, I can cater our time together for you.
