About Yasmin
I graduated from the University of Lleida (Spain) with a degree in Spanish Philology in 2017. Right after graduating, I started working as an online and at-home tutor for high school students and adults who were interested in learning the language. After 3 years of working continuously with teaching, I'm still very much in love with it and looking forward to passing on my knowledge.

I currently offer Spanish lessons for different levels and for anyone interested in learning or improving their Spanish skills. My methods are: - Customizable I customize my courses depending on the person's level, goal, and learning preferences. An example of preferences is if a person is more visual and learns best by interacting with visual content. If that's the case, then I adapt my courses to be visually entertaining and dynamic in order to promote and improve their learning experience. - I usually work with Spanish textbooks used by official language academies in Spain. They were all purchased by me and I have them in digital formats, so it can be easier to share them with my students. - I work both with a traditional method of teaching (standard textbook lessons and speaking exercises) and with what I like to call "an out of the box" method, which consists of recommending and working with media such as music, books, and movies as a way of helping the student to get used to the language and experience it from different perspectives. While learning vocabulary from language books is important, media is the one responsible for consolidating what you learn and giving you extra context and perfective.
