About Sonia
Every student deserves a tutor who cares and I do. I want my students to accomplish their goals. I have been a tutor since High School and have since worked with a company tutoring students of different ages on many subjects. I am very friendly and try to make my lessons as fun as possible no matter the subject. Learning should be a fun thing!

I enjoy helping my students find a love for learning. To do this I try to teach lessons based on how they learn best whether that be through hands on activities, visual graphs or just explaining subjects in a different light. My lessons vary student to student and day to day. There are some days my students are fully engaged and other days where I need to alter my way of teaching to keep them engaged. That is something I am comfortable doing and enjoy doing. As a tutor one of my goals is to build my students confidence in themselves and help them know they are intelligent.
