About Christiana
Hi, I’m Christiana and just completed Year 11! Ever since I was young, I’ve loved maths for its logical beauty. Over time, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of truly understanding the fundamentals in order to tackle more advanced problems with confidence. I have a strong background in mathematics: I completed the IGCSE qualification with an A* (achieved largely through self-teaching and pattern recognition), I’m currently self-studying Additional Mathematics, and will be starting A-level Mathematics this September. I also bring valuable experience working with children and teaching. I led a team during a week-long summer camp, participated actively in my local youth group, and have tutored two students recently — one at GCSE level and the other at KS3 level. Because I’ve explored the subject independently, I’ve developed a wide range of resources that I use to enrich my lessons. I’m committed to making maths more accessible, engaging, and rewarding for my students.

- The sessions will normally consist of any questions brought along by the student, a focused topic to dig deep into and practice questions to reinforce learning. Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour and each session is tailored to each student's needs and pace. Having completed IGCSE Mathematics and currently self-studying Additional Mathematics, I’ve been inspired to begin A-level Mathematics this September. Additionally, my tutoring experience in maths has helped me learn how to inspire a positive attitude towards the subject and incorporate fun into lessons. My lessons are catered towards students aged 7-11 (KS2) and 11-14 (KS3).
