About Oli

I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor currently completing my Master's in Cybersecurity Management at the prestigious University of Warwick. My passion for teaching stems directly from my own academic journey. While studying for my A-levels, I personally experienced the challenges of a difficult subject when I sought extra tutoring for Physics. I quickly realised that a classroom setting doesn't always provide the individual attention that is crucial for a student's progress. It's easy for students to get overlooked, and that's where I believe I can make a real difference. My experience with a tutor showed me the immense value of one-to-one support. It provided me with a space to ask questions freely, break down complex topics at my own pace, and receive instant, tailored feedback. This is the exact environment I strive to create for my own students. I am committed to providing the focused support and guidance needed to not only understand difficult concepts but also to build lasting confidence. My motivation for teaching is simple: I want to help students feel as prepared and self-assured as possible heading into their exams, and to see them achieve the top grades they are truly capable of.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to build both understanding and confidence. I have experience tutoring students from Year 7 to Year 11 in Maths and Science, helping them build a strong foundation for their future studies. We will work together to solidify core concepts and then apply them through targeted practice. To ensure you are fully prepared for your exams, we will tackle past papers from your specific exam board each week. This will familiarise you with exam techniques and help us identify areas for improvement, allowing us to focus on strengthening your weaknesses and boosting your overall grade. All lessons will be held online, offering the flexibility for us to arrange sessions at a time that is most suitable for you. Specialised support is also available for university students who need to brush up on foundational maths for courses such as Economics or Business.
