About Raven
I am stage actor, writer and teaching artist from NYC! I am a playwright, fiction writer and poet currently teaching drama at Dramatic Need in South Africa. Storytelling is my foundation and the root of all creative work. I am traveler and bookworm who loves movies and TV. Nothing excites me more that the study of storytelling.

When it comes to teaching writing, I'm really excited about giving students the tools to use their own voices. We focus on storytelling, style and content fundamentally. We examine structure through looking at other works so we can develop an eye for effective storytelling. Our overall focus is to develop a toolbox of literary devices and know when and how to use them so we can become stronger storytellers! (And grammar, of course!)
