About Hal
I am an undergraduate master's student studying physics at the University of Birmingham. I have excelled in STEM ever since GCSEs, gaining six grade 9s at GCSE and all A*s at A-level at the nationally renowned King's College London Maths School, a highly selective maths sixth form, with an exceptional quality of teaching, ranked the best in the country. I have been passionate about physics all my life. It gives me great joy to share my knowledge, as I believe it can be an invaluable tool for problem solving and understanding the world around us. I aim to help students who may be struggling with lessons or exams and also to enrich the academic experience of those who enjoy STEM and wish to push their understanding further

I aim to provide students of all ages with the understanding and skills needed to excel in their examinations (up to A-Level). During sessions we will go over sample questions, where I will explain the methodology needed to succeed in exams, as well as the concepts behind the questions. An understanding-driven approach ensures students will be able to tackle unseen problems and push themselves into new areas of the subject. These sessions can cover a variety of material at whatever speed and depth matches the individual student's learning style, and encourage active learning through "doing". I have experience tutoring both young children and those studying for their A Levels. These sessions are, therefore, suitable for anybody studying Maths or Physics below degree level, or Computer Science at GCSE.
